Richard Hopkins of Coldwell Banker established the property management business in 1980. In 1996 current owner Craig Harshman joined Richard Hopkins and his team. When Richard Hopkins offered to sell Craig HMC in 2002 the acquisition only seemed natural considering how Craig's hard work and involvement with HMC resulted in quadrupling the company's portfolio in a short period of time.

Craig became a licensed agent in 1989 and is currently a broker in the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania. He is also an active member of the property management industry. Craig is an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), a Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and a member of National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). As a member of NARPM you can count on Craig to understand and provided timely solutions to the unique problems and challenges of managing single-family and small residential properties. The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) provides a permanent trade organization for the residential property management industry. NARPM continues to be the premier professional association of residential property managers, currently representing over 2000 members comprised of real estate agents, brokers, managers and their employees.
